Terms of service.

This English version is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the version française prevails.

1. Scope

These terms govern Soreva’s services: drone photos and videos, aerial views of the neighbourhood and related options, produced for real estate brokers, teams and brokerages (“the client”). Booking a shoot means accepting these terms.

2. Quotes and booking

Quotes are free and carry no commitment. A booking is confirmed once we acknowledge it in writing, with the date, time, address, package and options selected. Prices are in Canadian dollars, before taxes; applicable taxes are added to the invoice.

3. Access and property preparation

The client confirms they have obtained the seller’s or owner’s consent for the shoot, including flying over the property, and that they will send us any useful access instructions. The property must be ready at the scheduled time: our prep checklist sums up what to check.

4. Weather and flight safety

Every flight is carried out in compliance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations, by a Transport Canada certified pilot. The decision to fly rests with the pilot, who may postpone or cancel it for safety reasons: wind, precipitation, fog, people present, airspace restrictions.

If conditions are unfavourable, we let you know and offer a new time slot within 24 h, at no charge. When the property is near an aerodrome or in controlled airspace, we check before the shoot whether flying there is allowed. If it isn’t, we let you know and refund any amount paid in full.

5. Cancellation and rescheduling by the client

• More than 24 h before the shoot: cancellation or rescheduling at no charge.
• Less than 24 h before the shoot: a fee of 50 % of the package applies.
• No access at the scheduled time, without notice: the shoot may be billed as a late cancellation.

6. Delivery

Files are delivered within 72 hours after the shoot, through a secure Proton Drive link. Timelines may be extended for specific options (long format, 3D property) or circumstances beyond our control; we’ll let you know if so.

7. Included revision

Every shoot includes one minor revision (two with the Luxury package), requested within 7 days of delivery: an adjustment to a cut, the colour, on-screen text or the music, for example. Each extra minor revision is $50. Larger changes, or a new shoot, are quoted separately.

8. Image usage rights

Soreva retains copyright in the photos and videos. Upon full payment, the client receives a non-exclusive licence, with no time limit, to use the content to market the property and promote their services: listing pages, websites, social media, ads, presentations and printed materials.

Any other use (transfer to a third party, a developer or another broker, resale of the content) requires our written consent. Soreva may show excerpts of the work in its portfolio and on its social media, without revealing the address; the client may object by telling us before delivery.

9. Music

Music comes from Artlist and is used under licence. It is authorized in the delivered videos, as is, for the uses described in section 8. It may not be extracted or reused in another production.

10. Payment

The invoice is issued on delivery and payable within 15 days, unless agreed otherwise — for example, monthly invoicing for teams and brokerages. A deposit may be requested at booking; it is then deducted from the final invoice.

11. Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the shoot concerned, except in the case of gross or intentional fault. We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as weather, an airspace restriction or being unable to access the property.

12. Governing law
